Freshly Made Sketch #36

Hi guys,

I just found another cool challenge site and anyone who knows me well knows I enjoy challenges and love to stalk challenge blogs even if I don't get an opportunity to make the card I design in my head I still enjoy looking at all the ideas that everyone else comes up with too. Anyway I got to work on the following sketch this week.

My partners brother is getting married. I am so happy for him and his partner. They are great people. They have also asked me to make there wedding invites which I am so excited about. I went to there engagement party on Saturday night and had an absolute blast. Here is the card I created for them. I tweaked the sketch slightly which I don't usually do but I love how the card turned out.

Hi guys,

WOW! I've been a bad blogger. I apologise, I've been finding the new adjustments made to Blogger a little hard when your in a hurry so until I master them it may be a little time between posts sorry. If you wanna keep up to date head over to my facebook page I am always keeping that up to date.

My brother proposed to his girlfriend just before Christmas and she said YES of course! He asked me to make him a box toput the gift in and since she loves Owl's I decided to whip her up this cute little box. What do you think?? Super cute huh?

I am also entering this project for the current Just Add Ink challenge which is... Just Add Fancy Packaging. Thought it was very fitting.

Inklings CyberStamp

Hi guys,

As I've mentioned before the team I'm a part of is the Inklings and last week we had a cyberstamp and I have so far made one card for it. Feels like forever since I've participated. I have other things in my head for the other challenges set on the night I just haven't had the opportunity to sit down and make them for reasons I will finally be able to explain in my next post.

Anyway this is for challenge one which was to chose a number between 1 and 23 flick open the summer mini to that page number and make something based on the layout/s on that page. Initially I chose 3 but there isn't a card on that page so I flicked to number 4 and based my card on the layout of the turtle card. And I must say I am STOKED with how it turned up and how quick and simple it was to make. Please let me know what you think. Oh and it was for an engagement! And I love it too cos it's not your traditional silver and white lovey dovey. Anywho I'm rambeling now...

Stamp Set: Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler
Ink: Early Espresso
Accessories: Decorative Label Punch, Dimensionals, Early Espresso Taffeta, Baja Breeze Prints DSP

I don't own a love heart punch yet, I know SHOCK HORROR! (Don't worry it's in my next order) so I cut the heart by hand and faux sueded it to give some texture, Really stoked at how good it turned out.

Have a good one,
Dani
