Happy Anniversary Hunny

I got my camera back! Which means I can share with you something I made this week! Mine and my boyfriends anniversary was on Wednesday so to celebrate I made him a card. He loves landscapes and sunsets so I made him this beautiful Michelle Zindorf inspired card which he loved.

I stamped the Lovely as a tree image in versamark onto glossy white cardstock and then embossed in black powder and then sponged colour on in a range of colours. It looks really stunning.

Stamp Set: Lovely as a tree
Cardstock: White Glossy Cardstock, Basic Black, Mellow Moss
Ink: Versamark, Yoyo Yellow, Blush Blossom, Apricot Appeal, Pumpkin Pie, Pretty In Pink, Regal Rose, Mellow Moss, Always Artichoke
Accessories: Black embossing powder, Black Brads, Sponges

Amethyst Bloomin'

Hi kids,

I am so sorry for my absense this week or so. I hate when it leads up to Christmas there is always just so much going on. I have been doing some stuff this week but the images are all on my camera which my brother took with him to his year 10 formal last night so you will just need to settle with a card that I made a while ago but never really added here. Again it is using that GORGEOUS flower from Bloomin' with beauty from the Spring Mini. If you like it please get in fast as it (and the other sets in the mini) won't be available for purchase after 30th November!
I made this card for my mum to give to our "aunty and uncle" for there anniversary back in September. I think it's really elegant and pretty.
I watercoloured the flower in mellow moss for the stem and leaves and then a combination of almost amethyst, elegant eggplant, bashful blue and ballet blue for the flower and petals. I love how the colours have combined together so perfectly. Here's a close up.
Stamp Set: Bloomin' with beauty, Short and Sweet, French Script*
Cardstock: Watercolouring paper, Very Vanilla, Almost Amethyst
Ink: Almost Amethyst, Elegant Eggplant, Bashful blue, Ballet Blue
Accessories: Aqua Painter, Mellow Moss Gingham Ribbon, Hodgepodge, Sponge Daubers
I will be going away this weekend for mine and my boyfriends anniversary. I will post some photo's and more projects when I return home.
Have a great weekend!

Happy Anniversary

A girl I work with always tells me I'm in the wrong profession and that I should persue craft full time. The truth is I don't have anywhere near enough buisness or feel that I can rip people off enough to be able to profit from it as a full time career.

Anyway, the other day she was showing me something she had made for her husband for there one year anniversary but decided that she really couldn't do anything worthwhile because she hasn't got an artistic bone in her body and asked me to make something colourful, simple and loving for her husband for there anniversary and based on the colours she gave me to work on this is what I came up with.

I think it looks very sweet and nice. It only took me 10 minutes to make and I hadn't pre-cut anything so it would be a very easy project to make at home and modify to your own liking. I have sent a copy of it via text msg to her but will get a proper verdict on Wednesday when I see her so I will let you all know what she thinks then. I would love to hear your thoughts on it also.

I used the following to make it:

Stamp Sets: Simply Said, Short and Sweet
Ink Pads: Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink
Paper: Certainly Celery, Whisper White
Accessories: Pink Gingham Ribbon

Happy Anniversary Julie and Jimmy. I wish you both the happiness for now and the future.

Happy Stampin'
