A "nanna" Card

Hi guys,

Yesterday was my Nanna's Birthday and I wanted to make her a card that was very her, Very "Nanna-ish." So I decided a rose would be a great place to start and I've been wanting to make my own rose for ages so I thought this was a great opportunity. They are really great fun and so simple to do. They add a great dimension and texture to a card and a very wow focus point that it doesn't need alot of other things to accentuate it. So after I made the flower I Faux Sueded an oval punch and then cut it to shape for some leaves. This also gave me that soft Nanna feel. Then I wanted to add some vintage and I just love double stamping to help give that vintage feel. Then to finish off the feature point I added some croquet ribbon, It wouldn't be say Nanna without something that resembled a doily.

Stamp Set: French Script, Teeny Tiny Sentiments, Friends 24-7
Ink: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Pink Pirouette
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Pink Pirouette, Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz, Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: Big Shot, Textures Impressions Embossing, Dimensionals, Oval Punch, Croquet Trim Ribbon, Spounge Daubers, SAMJ, Lace Trim Border Punch, Tombow 2 way glue

This card had been started for a few weeks so it was nice to finally finish it. The end result was just so stunning and the photo doesn't do it justice. It was quiet hard to photograph due to the dimensions on the card.

Thanks for looking, I'll be back very soon with another card I made yesterday

Dani
