The other weekend I went to a wedding for good friends of ours. It was a small and simple ceremony but was very them. The bride was co ordinating everything in red so I decided when making them a card I would ensure it was in red. I did a little casing (but changed it up a little to suit myself) from the fab Rachel Capps who got the original card from Dawn. Thanks ladies for the ideas! Around the same time I opened my big mouth and was talked into doing a demo of the Faux metal technique at our team stamping day. I decided to incorporate the faux metal technique into the card and demo the technique on the card at the stamping day. And here's what I came up with
Simple but very elegant and could also be given as a valentines card or a simple I love you card. The bride of the wedding absolutly loved the card! Here's a close up of the faux metal medallion I made. I attached it with some silver rings and long nose pliars from my jewellry making days.

After recieving more news of friends being pregnant including my partners brother's fiance I thought it was more than fitting that I start gathering a collection of baby cards. I then counted the amount of people I know who are pregnant and got 14! Eeek! There is definatly something in the water I think. I made a girl card as I know definatly one of them is having a girl. Here's the card I made...
